Terms & conditions

Here at Browbird, creating aesthetics that enhance your natural beauty are our passion! However, your safety is our absolute highest priority therefore the following applies to all cosmetic tattoo procedures.

Risk Disclosure

The owner/operator of Browbird is a Registered Nurse (NMW0002311014) and a qualified Cosmetic Tattoo Technician so you can be assured that high standards of practice are implemented to ensure your safety. However, due to the nature of skin and its uniqueness to every individual, combined with factors that are out of our control, the following is a list of points that help us manage your expectations and to help you understand that there are unlikely but potentially undesirable outcomes of cosmetic tattoo that you should consider.

  • Occasionally additional sittings may be required outside your initial 2 appointments in order to create optimum results, this will be at the clients cost.

  • The amount of colour/pigment retention can not be guaranteed.

  • Your artists will do their best to meet the expectations of your brief however expectations in this regard need to be realistic. Perfect symmetry is impossible and in some instances can actually highlight unsymmetrical facial features.

  • Infection and scaring are a risk whenever we enter the skin.

  • Pigment is filtered by skin and some skin holds different particles of pigment more efficiently than others, therefore the exact colour of your tattoo can not be determined prior to the treatment.

  • Although it may never completely disappear, over time, your tattoo may fade and can sometimes lose its warmth in colour. The result is generally a cooler, ashy tone and can usually be rectified with a Colour Boost (see services tab for prices).

  • Colour boosts may be required every 1-3 years. We understand this is vague but due to the nature of skin and how unique we all are, there’s no certain answer.

  • We encourage all clients to conduct their own research about cosmetic tattoo and ask any or as many questions as required prior to making their booking if they have any concerns.

Following a strict aftercare regime, and seeking guidance early if concerns are raised, may dramatically reduce any risks associated with your procedure..
